Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a Reporting Analyst to join the Marketing Operations team.  Reporting to the Analytics Manager, the primary responsibilities will revolve around supporting the execution of reporting that enables IANS to make informed business decisions.  

In addition to reporting, this role will also assist in the ongoing efforts to clean and maintain the data integrity of our growing database of clients and prospects.

This individual is expected to understand B2B Marketing processes & a strong foundation in systems, project management skills, and analytical and communication skills.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support all phases of analyses, from requirement gathering to delivery
  • Create and manage reports and dashboards related to marketing and sales performance
  • Create ad hoc reports as needed by business stakeholders
  • Use predictive analytics to proactively solve business problems before they impact the business
  • Ensure all reports are accurate and up to date
  • Assist in the creation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
  • Analyze contact and account data for quality assurance and assist in the correction of incorrect information

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong problem solving, analytical and conceptual acumen
  • Able to work independently or with little direction
  • A strong foundation of quantitative modeling methods and concepts
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting & interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Proficient with MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Prior experience creating reporting and analytics within BI Tools such as Tableau or Domo is helpful
  • CRM system experience (Salesforce.com) a plus
