Consulting Project Coordinator

Position Description

The Consulting Project Coordinator supports consulting engagements that IANS’ Faculty members deliver to our clients. The primary responsibility of this position is overall accountability for certain IANS consulting projects including successful and prompt delivery of all communications, timelines, and deliverables. The Project Coordinator ensures all consultants successfully complete assigned tasks as scheduled, identifies key barriers to a project’s success, and actively manages all mitigation activities. The PM supports the editing of written deliverables, reports, and proposals.

Core Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage schedules for timely completion of concurrent projects
  • Effectively lead small projects to successfully meet objectives, project schedule, and project scope
  • Regularly report project status to management
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with colleagues and consultants
  • Seek feedback from clients to assess engagement experience and satisfaction levels; take corrective action as needed
  • Develop and maintain documentation to facilitate pre-sales and project delivery process
  • Drive supporting activities in support of larger projects
  • Perform other duties as required

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of professional experience, preferably in IT or security consulting
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Demonstrated customer relationship, presentation and meeting facilitation skills
  • Demonstrates persistence, overcomes obstacles, and strives to improve skills and achieve goals
  • Proven problem solver – and motivated to seek feedback for improvement
  • Candidate must work out of our Boston office – cannot be located externally
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
